Aha sorry, didn’t ser that. But maybie that is also problem. Just delete this one with “s” , you don’t need it anyway. And restart MT4.

well, it was only added after i faced the issue. Restarting of MT4 and computer doesn’t work.

I have same issue and i don’t have https in the list.

Also, guys. When you quote a message that contains a big image, plase remove the image from quote. That makes discussion look messy.

So are we running all 16 pairs that you showed in your post, using the 4 set files you posted earlier and default for everything else? Just thought I would check to be sure.

I have already this version on few VPSes and everything works fine. I’d suggest you to disable time verification and turn on parameter “saving resources or slow computer”, because problem is maybe in too less resources? At the end you can even turn off checking news to find where can be your problem.

Finally I could place the EA 2.2b on a few charts and have the terminal keeping opened. But as others I have same message that keeps coming about news, despite urls and everything else I think is done correctly. Yesterday when I quit VPS, I could see positive numbers about news in the panel and there were no message, all pairs I choosed had “trading blocked” except EURCHF; today numbers are -1 and the message is showing.

Manage to do some troubleshooting with the news error.

The error only happens on 2.2 and above. I tried loading 2.1c and the news work fine. (no error, and does not show -1,-1)
Probably some code breaks during the update.

Hi guys!

Really weird. Are you using any firewall or antivirus? Is it possible to ping Forex Factory IP (67.192.106.154) from your machine?

It’s look like a problem with connection to FF or with saving/deleting/overwriting files with news on hard disk. I can always change it to keep news in memory. I’ll test it now.

P.S. mikegrand007, I’d recommend using all pairs except GBPJPY, CHFJPY and AUDNZD. I’m using all 16, because I’m testing different settings of Midnight on different accounts.

Yes, still getting the errors.

1 weird thing, it’s happening on my VPS now, but running the same thing on my computer is fine.
But, 2.1c news loading is working fine on the VPS and not 2.2

Complete list of my trades from yesterday. News filter set to MEDIUM. CHFJPY and GBPJPY are added experimental and I don’t recommend to trade these pairs as I already wrote many times.

I’m working on filter based on price action to dynamically put SL in some distance from last extreme (highest for sell, lowest for buy), so we’ll be able to cut losses faster and keep orders opened longer with bigger profits. It’s almost done, but I need to test it. First I’ll of course repair that weird problem with news filter.

Why it hasn’t worked on my VPS? Because I had also the troubls with the newfilter or because my filter is set to carefully?
