No, I set the default to 35, but do you think it could be the case that I couldn’t trade because of the error?

Ping is ok, but still getting those errors every time i start MT4 (because it opens all windows which include the EA). Does same if i remove EA and then add in on a new chart.

It looks like connection from your IP and from MT4 is blocked by Forex Factory. On my server it wasn’t blocked yet and it worked for you. Now it doesn’t work and only one solution is to find another news source as DailyFX etc. or mirror of FF.

Got this error in the log together with the previous error.
Same MT4 platform but 2.1c is loading fine. Anything 2.2 all give error.

Good work man! You’re on it it seems. Thanks for the colours as well. Can someone post up the SET files for 2.2 again? I’m assuming now we need to check our brokers for the spread to set per pair and you’re working on trailing stops for maximizing the profit? Will run 2.2c this evening and post back.

somethnig is wrong with Newsfilter

Output log says that News were checked but EA still allow trading during News or something is wrong with display panel on chart, maybe it’s not refreshnig or somethnig like that.

Guys, problem is not with version 2.2 in comparison to 2.1, but in your VPS’es. I spoked today with many people and Forex Factory blocks IP if it will see that you are trying to connect more times from MetaTrader as user-agent. Version 2.1 was based on my server which took news from Forex Factory and its IP isn’t blocked by Forex Factory – that’s why for many of you checking news worked on old version. Another problem was/is with firewall blocking outgoing connections and some antiviruses or other software blocking saving files by MT4. Now Midnight keep data about news in its memory, so last problem that you can have is problem with connection to FF. I will add function to check connection to FF and we will see. I’m sure that on all (or almost all) VPSes from FXVM connection with FF is blocked by FF. Same on few other companies as I know.
