Hi Dominik,
Thank you for the EA and set. I used PAEA22_EURUSD_M5.set and PRICE_ACTION_EA_2.2.ex4 from the first of Nov 2016 to 8th Dec 2016 and made a profit factor of 1.54. Does that sound about right for the new data? How do you determine when to optimise and how far back to get a good .set for the future?
Have you thought about adding a 50 SMA/EMA and only opening buy trades that are above the MA or sell trades that are below the MA so in the trend of the market?
Will you release the .mq4 or how will this work in the future?
Cheers
Tim
Hi Tim!
In a few days I’ll release the new version with some new options and it will be free to use. As always, new version should be optimized and I think that it can be done on data from 2012-now for M5 timeframe.
I tested many different filtering based on Moving Averages and there was even second EA some time ago called Price Action Moving Averages which I combined with Price Action Engulfing Candles. It worked very good on higher timeframes as H1 and H4 and in next version of current Price Action EA I’ll restore functionality of “Price Action Moving Averages”.
If you have any questions or ideas about this EA I suggest to discuss it in that topic: https://theinvestbay.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2
