Also, i have replaced the old EA with new one and on the screen i have a text that say “License checking” and nothing happens. Is that normal? Do i need a special license or have to do anything else?

Same problem here. Today I opened MT4 and on the chart is “License checking”, it’s not changing to panel where is info about EA.

Hi!

Add to allowed URLs: http://theinvestbay.com in Tools->Options->Expert Advisors. Then restart MT4 or put Midnight on chart once more and it must work.

By the way, today is Sunday and there are no ticks incoming to MT4 – that’s why Midnight stucks on “License checking”. I’ll fix it, so you won’t see that info if license is checked.

Tomorrow I’ll put here newest version with some another improvements. I’ll write about it in details tomorrow.

I have same problem like mayamak posted here. What is the solution? (it looks like my broker server uses GMT+1)

Also, the text on chart looks like below for me, because i have foregroung color set to almost same as the text background. Can you allow us to select text background in the options, so we can adapt to our chart colors?

this error appears when “AutoTrading” is disabled, when it’s ON during opening MT4 with charts I’m not reciving this error.

For some reason i see this right after launching MT4. But in logs it say Midnight EA loaded successfully…

Also, still have the questtion from yesterday: Should we trade only pairs that we have set files for (is 4 pairs now i think) or we can use on all previous pairs with default settings?

Hi friends!

All problems are solved and color of background (of this box) is changeable in parameters.

Today I’ll put here version 2.2.

I suggest to use no more pairs than 13 (16 from list, without: GBPJPY, CHFJPY, AUDNZD). For those that we have set files we can use them, all the rest we can trade on default settings.

New versions look good man. Just one gripe… The color on that UI box. Text is going to change to either white or black based on background so grey isn’t too good a color. Pick any other color and make it the background?

Hi friends!

New beta-version of Midnight with number 2.2 is ready.

Source of news is now Forex Factory directly from their www, so you should add address http://www.forexfactory.com/ to allowed URLs. In the near future I’ll add possibility to use other sources, now you can see new parameter “News Source” with only 1 option. I’ll work on it to add another (dailyFX etc…).

Now verification of time and timezone in your operating system is based on external website, so you should add http://time.is/ to allowed URLs or set Disable_Time_Verification to False if you don’t want to use it. This option (if active) will check if your time is correct, if not you will see information about it in message box.

Another parameter added to new version is “Saving MT4 Resources Or Slow Computer”. If set to Yes – Midnight will add 1000ms delay to his functionality after each new tick, so you will be able to use much more charts in one MT4 instance (not only with Midnight, but other indicators, EAs etc, everything what you want).

At the end of parameters I added new section “Colors” where you can set color of background and border of box in “Comment” area.

Besides of that, what can be seen I optimized a lot of code and add some improvements, among others some intelligent delays to news filter for PCs/VPSs with problems with multiple connections at the same time etc etc.

Hi Dominik,

What does -1 means after News Checked ? And the message “Trading Blocked !!!” that I have on all charts ? (the 2 urls were allowed).

Last night was not good trading a few pairs, big loss on AUDCAD, small win on USDCHF, with version 2.1c.
