I don’t know if I understand what you wrote here you have file with EA in 1.3 version: http://theinvestbay.com/download/file.php?id=37 and here you have all the settings: http://theinvestbay.com/viewforum.php?f=3 – each one currency pair in different topic… here you have .set file for most popular pair “EURUSD”: http://theinvestbay.com/download/file.php?id=38

If you see different result than on forum, I suspect that your data aren’t complete (e.g you have gaps, which cause errors etc.) or are just very different from mine. We use on this forum data from Dukascopy (available through Tickstory Lite). And parameters are optimized on “every tick”.

its basically a moving average of x periods high and lows you can yous it as confirmation for your entry and some use it as stop loss point

Both strategies (Price Action Engulfing Candles and Price Action Moving Averages) have been merged into this one and from now all new versions of Price Action EA you will find in this topic.

Hi everyone!

I would like to present new version of Price Action EA 2.2.

In new version you will find possibility to use advanced algorithm of hedging multiplying size of orders, new levels visible on screen, comment, new alerts and some other things.

Old set files (made for Price Action 2.0) should work on new version with “Use_Hedging_instead_of_SL” turned off.

If you want to use hedging instead of SL all new parameters for hedging should be optimized.

Version 2.2 is active till end of year 2016.

First off would like wish you Merry Christmas! Saw your last post here was only yesterday and thought I could get perhaps get some questions answered by you here though I have added you on Skype but no luck to see you online so far.
In your main post you mentioned :
“Next parameter which filters out bad patterns in my strategy is “Highest_Candle_From_3″ and it defines if the sum of the real bodies of current (0) and previous (1) candle is higher than real body of 3rd candle.”

If it is a buy trade, the above statement does it means that the sum of Closing price – Open price for both candle [0] and [1] must be greater than Open price-Close price of candle [2](aka 3rd candle)?

I have quite a few more questions to ask but my guess is since it a holiday season right now you are probably having personal time with your family, I apologize if I have bump into your holiday >.<
