Well i did some changes on Setting and its giving me better results
Kindly do the testing and let me know if its working with u also

Monday and Friday was False i made it True
Start trading was 0 i made it 6
please do the backtest i am getting alot better results

Hi!

I’m afraid that you’re using data from MetaQuotes which are not good. It’s better to optimize and test on good data with all ticks, without gaps etc, for example from Dukascopy. You can download and export them to your MT4 with Tickstory Lite. If you don’t know how to do it you can watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hg3_ZzaEs9s

After exporting files and before opening MT4 you should prevent MT4 to overwrite your downloaded files from Tickstory. You can do this in two ways. By pressing button in Tickstory called “Launch Metatrader for Back-Testing”:

or by finding these files and setting attributes “read-only” to all of them.

By the way, after changing the parameters (about which you wrote) you can have better results if EA will trade on Mondays and Fridays, but you will also get so many losses that Profit Factor will decrease significantly. The same with Drawdown %, which will definitely increase.

Hello, I want to test a strategy MT4 EA. I loaded the robot and the file set but unfortunately I have no order and not triggered curve statisitique vision. I send you the report. Can you tell me where is the problem? Thanking you. I see the scroll and graphic signals buy / sell but in the end Nothing
I asked MQL5 and the error 131, you have to see with you, they told me.
I see the arrows on the screen but by cons, no order and no curve

You didn’t send report, but I know where is the problem.

Error 131 means “ERR_INVALID_TRADE_VOLUME – Invalid trade volume” (https://book.mql4.com/appendix/errors).

If you want to test EA you should set “Initial deposit” (“Tester” window Ctrl+R -> “Expert properties” -> “Testing” tab). I suggest to set 1000 USD. You should also set parameter “Lots_To_Margin_Percent” ( I suggest 10 ) or “Trade_Size_in_Lots” ( I suggest 0.1 ). “Auto_Lots_To_Margin” = True if you want to use auto-lots or False – if you want to use fixed lot.

Error 131 means that the volume is invalid. You should verify that your lot size complies with parameters on your account.

You can download my indicator from this post: https://theinvestbay.com/viewtopic.php?p=127#p127

Attach it to some chart and look at “Experts” tab. You will see all parameters of your account.

You can paste here 4 lines: “Minimum permitted amount of a lot”, “Maximum permitted amount of a lot”, “Lot size in the base currency” and “Step for changing lots”.

If you want to find a solution by yourself you should change parameter “Auto_Lots_To_Margin” to False and set parameter “Trade_Size_in_Lots” manually to 0.1, 0.2 or something else and start test again. Maybe minimum permitted amount of a lot on your account is higher than that what you set. You can also test EA on some other account (different broker), for example new demo account with Metaquotes.

Hello Dominik. I’ve already done all the settings you specified. It does not work. I contacted MQL5 and here is what they send me.
It’s very complicated, I do not understand why it does not work. No EA doesnt but against indicators the tests work well. It is exhausting … Anyway thank you for your help
