NZDJPY M5 settings

In attachment file with my parameters for NZDJPY on M5 timeframe.

Parameters are initially optimized for period of time from 2010 – now.

I’m waiting for any comments, ideas and opinions how to improve the system and parameters.

Hi Dominik and thanks for your work and contribution to the forex community! I have been using your EA v.1.3 with modified setfile in NZDJPY pair for half a month. Yesterday it stopped working saying that I use an old version. When I try to backtest with the new version of the EA, the results at this pair are not so good… Would you mind giving me a key or a way to prolong the use of the older version?

Hi!

I will upload new version of Price Action 1.3 today or tomorrow. You should get exactly the same results with Price Action 2.0, but you have to optimize everything and you need min.4-5 days to do it good. I’m optimizing 2 another pairs right now ( I have ~90% on each) and when it will be ready I’ll publish sets on forum and start optimization for another pairs, among others: NZDJPY.

Honestly, I don’t know, because I don’t remember anything about this old set. I made it a long time ago and it was made for first beta version of Price Action.

Right now, I’m optimizing new set for Price Action EA 2.0 on period 2012-now and I will try to publish it today.

I don’t understand in 100% what do you mean, but I think you ask about first set?
Look at the date of first post with set “Mon Jul 25, 2016 7:46 pm” and you will know.

Hi. My setfile after backtesting gives very good results but only 40 trades in 2 years. What can I change in order to get more trades except expiration which I already did without good results?

Hi!

“Buy_Sell_Stops_Expiration” should be changed (optimized) only together with “Stops_Distance_from_Extreme”. In order to get more trades you can optimize also “Min_Stop_Distance_to_TP=15” and some blocks of parameters as for example: “Candles_To_Take_To_TP”+”TP_Distance_from_Extreme”, “Candles_To_Room_to_the_left”+”Room_to_the_left”, “RSI_Period”+”RSI_Low_Level”, “ADX_Period”+”ADX_Low_Level”+”ADX_High_Level”.

In the meantime I made new version of Price Action with number 2.2.
Maybe it will be better to find good parameters with this version.
By the way, I’m still developing this EA and I don’t have enough time to optimize it on each pair.
But… as soon as I’ll have anything interesting I will publish it here for sure
